Walking and Eating (again)

Spent the day soaking up the atmosphere in Madrid. This city is so vibrant and has fantastic shopping. There seems to be people down every lane way making the city feel totally alive. We keep buying warm clothes as we go so hope it all fits in the bags ! I am getting shocking images of what we'll be lugging around after 9 weeks.

The market places are full of the most amazing foods and they double as bars/cafes as well where people buy, eat, walk and drink all at once. The atmosphere is just fantastic. We bought some yummy foods (Sausage, Hams, Olives, Pasta, Chorizo, etc...) at the Mercado del San Miguel market and had a feast at home...check out the sausage !

    Hi guys

    just to let you know that your message worked. Madrid certainly looks like a great place to visit. How are the boys enjoying it all? Been 2 weeks away already - time flies. Off to bed and back to work tomorrow. Could really do with a holiday as well!! Keep posting the great photos and comments.

    Now we know what was hanging up !! What a sausage !! If you think Madrid is difference wait till you get to Barcelona (Barthelona)
